Studies of Society and Environment 
Our SOSE curriculum in the Early Years at the Islamic College of South Australia exposes students to a range of learning activities within the strands of the SACSA framework. We cover, for instance, cultural diversity and encourage our students to respect all nationalities, religions and belief systems. We provide opportunities for them to share their own experiences and values, which adds to their learning and understanding of these topics.
The importance of preserving and valuing our environment is also a strong focus in SOSE. Our students learn to direct their thinking towards the future. They are taught through a range of text-based, teacher modeled and hands-on exploratory activities. SOSE helps students at the Islamic College of South Australia to make sense of their world.
