Kindergarden Co-Curriculum
At the Islamic College we do everything possible to make going to school enjoyable and inspiring. It is important that children have positive experiences when starting school. Our kindergarten children usually look forward to going to school because they know the staff, students and the physical environment. The kindy children have Buddies in both Reception classes and in Year 4. Some of our High school students also work with the pre-school children. The kindy group attends some assemblies and the library. The kindergarten children also visit classrooms on occasions. They also enjoy being involved with the annual fundraiser for The National Heart Foundation "The Jump Off Day", a fun skipping event. Participating in these events outside kindergarten makes them feel part of our school community and makes the entry into primary school something to look forward to.
