Work Experience Program
We aim to prepare our students for their professional future. In Term 3 we offer a Work Experience Program for Year 10 students. Following a comprehensive orientation course the students spend a week in a work placement of their choice. It is an initial introduction to a career they might like to choose once they have completed their education. The program aims to develop in students:
- an understanding of how the workplace functions
- confidence in interacting with adults
- an insight into career options
- a greater sense of responsibility
For our Year 10 students the Work Experience Program is a productive and clarifying time that helps them to narrow down their future professional direction.
