At the Islamic College of South Australia we want our students to feel increasingly confident in a variety of physical activities with classes designed to increase the enjoyment of being physically active.

To meet the needs of students with different abilities we cover basic motor skills in each activity which are repeated and reinforced throughout the curriculum. The programs are taught in a range of contexts, individually and in teams.

The students in Years 7 to 10 participate in various sports, such as:

  • Martial Arts
  • Softball
  • Soccer
  • Hockey
  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Aerobics
  • Weight training
  • Kickboxing

The program also has a strong emphasis on increasing fitness for those students who already excel in a particular sport.
