Science 
The science courses in Years 7 to 10 are mainstream courses designed to prepare students for the entire range of science subjects available at Stage 1 and Stage 2. The topics are taught under four disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science.
Our students study science in a well-equipped science laboratory. We want our students to be able to:
- Use scientific terms correctly
- Understand and communicate scientific ideas and concepts
- Formulate hypotheses and test them in properly designed experiments
- Understand the concepts of variables and controls in scientific experiments
- Respect laboratory safety
- Develop a scientific way of thinking
Exposure to these various disciplines also makes it easier for students to choose their SACE subjects in Year 11.
